Atlantic Philanthropies Gave it All Away

====> Over 20 years ago, my insightful former boss and foundation #CEO found inspiration from Charles "Chuck" Feeney’s anonymous approach. 

Once worth an estimated $8 billion, Feeney #pledged to #donatevirtually all his #wealth in his lifetime.

By 2016, he did just that with a last #gift of $7 million to his alma mater.

Mr. Feeney shied away from the limelight and those who benefited from his #philanthropy were unaware of #funding #source.

As a result from my experience in a similar operation to that of Atlantic Philanthropies, I was duly inspired because of how long-term #investments of support made a huge difference to the #grantees.

Rest in peace, Charles, and thank you for all you have #contributed to improving the world with your #generosity.
