Excellent Work Happens Because of Supportive Coalitions

With the support and engagement of local, regional, and statewide groups, The Trevor Project can continue outreach and education that truly saves lives.

Today, Troy Stevenson and Johanna Byrd spoke at the NASW - PA Chapter annual meeting of which I was a part. 

On the agenda included findings from a national report, nationwide research, and statewide (Pennsylvania) data on the still prevalence of harmful, ineffective so-called LGBTQ "conversion therapy."

Although this photo is *not* from today's statewide meeting of social workers, the photo includes those with whom we have partnered on our campaign to ban LGBTQ+ conversion therapy in Pennsylvania.

Like the report says, it's still happening, and even by licensed practitioners from many fields including psychology, social work, medicine, and more.
