A Story Slam Success

MISSION Story Slam (https://lnkd.in/eHitmEJ) is dedicated to telling the stories of people on a mission to make the world a better place. From time to time, they give the people representing nonprofit organizations a voice and general operation support.

I was thrilled to see Executive Director Jared Fenton of The Reflect Organization receive the Judges' Award and Crowd Favorite recently.  I’ve been working with The Reflect Organization for some time, and I know how impactful their work to enhance mental wellness and resilience among college students has been.  Having this additional platform will help to amplify their message and mission.

I encourage you to watch some of the videos of past winners. They are all impressive and memorable. Hearing these firsthand accounts of how organizations, and the individuals who staff them, create change is a reminder of the power of storytelling.   
There are versions of this opportunity sprinkled throughout the US and around the world – although most events have pivoted to virtual for the time being
