Collaborative #marketing among nonprofits can generate new demand.
Saturday, I took a full day off knowing that I’d be back at the desk again today to meet a deadline. We checked out a place called Newlin Grist Mill Park. Wandering through the property I spotted a fox, three deer, a few unused railroad bridges, and two cozy spring houses as well as an overgrown pine tree farm. The pines were at least 70 feet tall, and once within their realm I felt I had stepped into a new dimension - so quiet, no wind, and limited light due to their density.
This #park has joined with over two dozen area #nonprofits and developed a passport #game to heighten awareness of outdoor spaces in our region. It can be accessed as a #digital activity and also in print (see photos below).
I think it’s a great example of creating a targeted #outreachprogram to the perfect audience. As a result of getting the passport, I discovered 15 new places to go I hadn’t heard about before.
