Creating virtual connections and community during COVID-19

Creating virtual connections and community during COVID-19

I have to give credit to Philadelphia’s William Way Community Center. Faced with  the abrupt discontinuation of their popular in-person tours  in March 2020, they quickly developed an online experience.

Why do this?

* Testimonials are embedded into the experience, bring people closer to understanding the organization's impact on the lives of real people.

* Seeing is believing. Potential volunteers, supporters, and advocates can see with their own eyes evidence of the good work that goes on every day.

* We may be in "physical distance mode" for up to 1.5 years – and that's a lot of lost time for ongoing cultivation of the pipeline of future ambassadors.

Inbox me for an invitation to a 30-40 minute tour.
