The Employment Counts Overall Are Up for Nonprofits - But, Why?

Thanks to #data #analysis by journalist and The Washington Post staff writer, Andrew Van Dam, we can see the wide #market landscape of USA's employment demographics in the industry I have known, loved, and into which I have poured blood, sweat, and tears since the first George Bush was President. [That's indeed a mighty long time.]
Some surprising takeaways for me I want to share:
* For the past 15 years, #nonprofit staffing is up 15%
* Nonprofit employment has now exceeded that of #government numbers
* #Health care organizations and nonprofit #hospitals and their skyrocketing growth account for 1 out of 5 of every #jobs
