Financial Growth & Program Development Can Happen Concurrently

Mt. Airy Art Garage

Mt. Airy Art Garage's (MAAG) #founders, #board leaders, instructors, #members, studio artists, and #volunteers collaborated and built the #organization four-fold since Fall 2019.

And they successfully did so despite the #pandemic.

New #programs and #exhibitions in their newly renovated space, a former post office, such as the annual Black Art Matters, Jazz Nights, Summer Programs for #Youth with public #arts and #community-building events such as this coming Saturday's MAAG Rocks Art! street festival and International Women's Day activities bring people together to celebrate culture and a variety of artistic forms.

Although I'm not able to join in the fun of music, food, art, and culture this weekend, I'm thrilled to have witnessed and been a part of a collective effort to strengthen #governance, improve #operations, create new #policies, opening up of new #program #revenue, and building #funding to sustainably grow their #nonprofit.

Congratulations, to Mt. Airy Art Garage. To learn more, visit: https://lnkd.in/dUkKKUwT
