Happy New Year to Everyone who Celebrates

Today it's Saturday, and for a late brunch, we visited friends at their home to celebrate the Vietnamese New Year (Tết, or, Tết Nguyên Đán) and had a wonderful time.

Through our friends, many years ago, we learned that the Chinese New Year usually coincides, but not always.

Although the occasion is often centered as a time for family reunions, as it was with our friends, it was mostly with the family they created since they are so far away from their homes.

The uplifting message and theme for the gathering is a moment for all to set aside any difficulties from the previous calendar year and prepare and hope for a happier, improved 2024.
