Multi-Year Study: Relationships Matter Most, but Targeted Messaging Effective

An oldie but a goodie for a Sunday afternoon: relationships trump tactics and strategy and yet all three are important.

Although the study I am citing is about planned giving, I believe the literature matches that of major gifts and annual giving by donors.

Since I recently had the pleasure of gaining new insights from this long-term study which was developed by a large group of people whom I admire for their pioneering work preceding this study, I am sharing the link below.
