INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
The communications intern will help support JMA’s communications initiatives on the national level and in the regions we work in. The communications intern will work closely with staff to design digital, promotional, and event media, create website and social media content, and assist in the creation of organizational materials. Their contributions will help the communications team build JMA’s profile and communicate our message effectively to advance our vision of public goods for the most public good. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop communications skills and experience working at a nonprofit that advocates for good jobs for communities that need them most.

The communications intern will work closely with our communications team and will report directly to our Communications Director. Work hours will be 10-12 hours per week completed between 8AM-6PM EST Monday-Friday (with some flexibility).
