Planned Giving Thoughts

RISD Museum

We visited the RISD Museum (for those who are unfamiliar, the acronym is for the Rhode Island School of Art & Design) yesterday as part of an adventure to explore Providence for a half day of food and culture.

WaterFire Providence’s monthly river show and entertainment serendipitously coincided with our trek and we took the 2.5 mile Independence Trail around the downtown area before climbing up to College Hill and Brown University’s campus.

Planned Giving Thoughts:

===> RISD Museum has both expanded its physical plant and collection size in the 15 years since I last visited. With the establishment of multiple funds and opportunities for donors to create their own legacies at the school, the diversity and depth of what they can offer has apparently expanded.

Highly recommend a visit should you be in that neck of the woods.
