Throwback Thursday - What do I miss about public events?

1. I miss the adrenaline rush of arriving at a special place, setting up our tables, tents, and materials in time for the crowds arrive.

2. I miss the opportunity of being in the presence of thousands of new people who will have the opportunity to learn about my organization for the first time.

3. I miss the chance encounters, with someone I only knew slightly, or someone I have the chance to reconnect with for the first time in years.

4. I miss the satisfaction of linking someone to a service that would provide meaningful, immediate relief.

5. I miss the amazing collection of potential sponsors and donors, many of whom are primed to be invited to learn more about the organization I represent.
